House fire at Blacktown

Firefighters from Dunheved responded to reports of smoke at Resolution Ave, Willmot late this evening. Upon arrival, they discovered a house fire with two rooms well alight. They called for assistance and started attacking the fire with hoses. Firefighters from Mt Druitt, Blacktown, St Marys and Cranebrook then responded. Fortunately, the quick actions of the firefighters enabled the fire to be extinguished before it could spread to the rest of the house.
